Botulax 100U is a botulinum toxin type A formula developed by the South Korean manufacturer, Hugel. The composition of Botulax is identical to that of the globally known Botox brand. It is a peripheral muscle relaxant that blocks the transmission of nerve impulses and disrupts the synthesis of acetylcholine, which leads to temporary paralysis of the muscles.
Botulax is often used to smooth over mimic wrinkles and temporarily correct hyperhidrosis in patients aged 18 to 65. The most commonly targeted cosmetic wrinkles are the glabellar lines. However, Botulax can also be used for medical purposes. This includes the treatment of bruxism (18 years of age or older), benign essential blepharospasms (18+), muscle spasticity in the upper limbs caused by a stroke (20+), and equine foot deformities in patients older than two years old.
Botulax 100U is an internationally renowned and used product that spans 22 countries, including Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Panama, Kuwait, Chile, and more. It is very safe to use, as it is unable to penetrate neighboring tissues due to its high molecular weight and medium concentration of albumin.

Ingredients:
Botulinum toxin type A is a neurotoxin that temporarily relaxes muscles when injected. The precise amount of 100 units ensures targeted efficacy in cosmetic and medical applications, helping achieve longer-lasting results.
Human Serum Albumin is a protein found in human blood plasma. In medical applications, it is often used in formulations to stabilize and preserve certain medications, particularly those administered by injection. Sodium Chloride is simply table salt, composed of sodium and chloride ions. In medical contexts, it is commonly used as a saline solution, particularly in intravenous fluids, to restore electrolyte balance and provide hydration.
Specifications:
Botulax 100U comes in a vial with a fine, freeze-dried powder containing 100 units of botulinum toxin type A. This powder needs to be diluted with 0.9% saline, which is included in each package. Please note that the powder is so fine that your vial might appear empty at first.
To use Botulax, take the vial out of its cold storage and check that it is colorless and transparent. The powder may appear slightly yellow or off-white. Draw the saline into a syringe and slowly add it to the vial. Gently mix the vial, avoiding shaking. The product should be refrigerated between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius and used within 24 hours. It can be stored for up to five weeks in the refrigerator after reconstitution and dilution, but its effectiveness may decrease.
When treating blepharospasm, Botulax should be reconstituted and injected without electromyographic guidance using a 27-30 gauge needle. The initial recommended dose is 1.25-2.5U at each site into the orbicularis oculi muscles of the upper and lower lids. Initial effects are seen within three days, peaking at around two weeks, and the duration of each treatment is approximately three months.
For glabellar lines, Botulax should be reconstituted with sterile saline to make 50 U/1.25 mL (4 U/0.1 mL) and injected using a 30-gauge needle. Administer 0.1 mL into each of 5 sites, targeting corrugators and procerus muscles, totaling 20U.Careful attention is needed to avoid blood vessel injection, and preventing exudation below the orbital ridge is emphasized. Each treatment lasts approximately three to four months, and more frequent injections are not recommended due to uncertain safety and efficacy.
